Global Asset Tracing is a family-operated company specialising in identifying and recovering unclaimed assets worldwide.
We initially operated from Canada but are now based in the US and work with lawyers from across the globe to reunite lost assets with their rightful owners. Our US Counsel is based in Sacramento, California, and New York, and we have partnered with Mann Lawyers in Australia and Brian Belmont in Canada to assist in asset recovery.
We take pride in our personalised approach to guiding rightful owners through the process of recovering their lost assets. Although the company is based in the US and primarily operates in the United States and Canada, we help people recover money and assets rightfully owed to them worldwide.

Harry Zettel
CEO, Private Investigator
Harry is the founder of Global Asset Tracing and has helped return over ten million dollars to people through over a decade’s work as a private investigator. He is a former licensed trustee in bankruptcy and Chartered Accountant in Canada and has over 25 years of international accounting experience, including ten years with Ernst Young and Price Waterhouse.
Harry was also a partner with the prestigious Canadian bankruptcy firm Perry Krieger and Associates and specialised in strategic financial re-structuring while working on multi-million dollar loans for Price Waterhouse and his own firm.
Suzi Zettel
Private Investigator
Suzi holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work in addition to her Private Investigator Licence and is involved with all aspects of tracing and recovering assets for our clients. She has previous experience as a Family and Adolescent Therapist and is the co-founder of a high-tech company which helped independent health practitioners manage their businesses. Through Suzi’s people tracing skills, we located and reunited a lady in South Africa with over $50,000 in North America.
Danielle Zettel
Private Investigator
Danielle holds a BA in Hotel Management and Tourism in addition to her Private Investigator Licence. Danielle researches potential claims and conducts genealogy research as a private investigator. Her work has helped many people reclaim their lost assets, including a man owed almost $50,000 due to his uncle’s wrongful death.
Yosef Zettel
Private Investigator
Yosef holds a BA in Criminology in addition to his Private Investigator Licence. Yosef utilises his sales experience to help customers access their money quickly. He spent three years in the military as a combat engineer and several years in sales in Vancouver. His superb skills with people tracing and global image software once helped reunite a man in Ireland with lost assets worth $388,000.
Shimon Sporn
Genealogist and Researcher
Shimon is a member of the Israel Genealogical Society and the Jewish Genealogical Society of New York and has published two books for the LaDOR VaDOR Holocaust Memoirs Project. As an expert Holocaust archival researcher, he has successfully traced survivors and heirs for probate cases of pre-war assets in Europe for families in the USA and Israel.
Zefira Zuskis Seitz
Researcher and Linguist
Zefira assists in international cases where we must research local authorities and courts for public records for kinship and other information. She is fluent in Italian, Spanish, and French and helps communicate with authorities in many non-English-speaking countries, once reuniting a hospital with over $420,000 in lost assets.
